Thai Massage

Thai Massage is an amazing, ancient form of bodywork that contains the elements of yoga asanas (stretches) with acu-pressure, rhythmic massage, gentle twisting, breath awareness, and deep relaxation.  This type of massage is performed on a mat on the floor with the recipient comfortably clothed so that the body can be moved and manipulated in all directions not just statically prone (face down) or supine (face up) as in table massageThis allows you (the recipient) to achieve and maintain much greater structural and postural realignment and integration because as the body is gently guided into to stretches following the breath muscular memory is activated.
You do not have to have any knowledge of yoga to benefit from Thai Massage because I will gently guide your body into the poses.  Also each body is unique in its own way and results are not “forced” through harsh manipulations, rather gently coaxed along with gently moving deeper into the stretches riding along the breath. There is no requirement to receive this work other that a desire to go with the flow and move toward balance physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
